NEW YORK (UMNS) -– Funds are available to assist United Methodist churches, districts or annual conference in conducting their own dialogues on theological diversity.

The United Methodist Commission on Christian Unity and Interreligious Concerns here has established a fund of $20,000 for such a purpose.

The Rev. Bruce Robbins, general secretary, explained that the fund helps the commission fulfill its commitment to bring the recommendations of the "In Search of Unity" document to wider church attention.

Grant application forms are being sent to all bishops. Forms also are available by contacting the commission office at 475 Riverside Drive, Room 1300, New York, NY 10115. The telephone number is (212) 870-3800.
